Graduate Student Appreciation Week

Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW) is a nationally recognized celebration highlighting the contributions, value, and impact of graduate students. Each year, The Graduate School at Northwestern University compiles a full week of in-person and virtual events each year to honor and celebrate the graduate community.

For GSAW, I create branded social media graphics, Instagram reels, printed and digital signage, a calendar webpage, branded swag, and free digital offerings including wallpapers and Spotify playlist. In addition to the branding, I am responsible for updating TGS webpages with GSAW information and running our marketing through social media and email campaigns. I also proposed and implemented a central GSAW webpage that links to our past GSAW webpage calendars. In the past, TGS would create a news article for each GSAW calendar which would automatically become archived after two years, effectively erasing our past efforts. With my help, we digitally archive past GSAW programming and branding as a reference for both our team and our students.
